Job Summary
The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to work on our team with an emphasis in general cardiology. The position is an outpatient clinic-focused role, primarily based out of our Stansbury community clinic. The position will involve both independent work and close collaboration with physician partner/s and other advanced practice clinicians.
Responsibilities- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined above.
- Demonstrate clinical competence and in-depth knowledge of specialty area.
- Demonstrate leadership, teaching, research, and communication skills.
- Ability to provide care appropriate to the population served.
- Licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Utah.
- Certification in ACLS / BLS / NRP / ATLS may be required by your department or by privileging criteria.
- Utah State prescriptive privileges.
- Master’s degree in Nursing or equivalency (the only equivalency to the Master’s degree is current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner) and a National Certification requiring successful completion of a nationally accredited examination.
- Newly hired non‑physician providers must apply for credentialing and privileging at the time of hire.
- Employee must be immunized according to CDC standards and hospital policy (with limited exemptions for documented medical contraindications or religious beliefs).
- May require a criminal background check and/or drug screen.
