Position: Nurse Practitioner Up to $90 hourly

UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colorado is seeking an exceptionally skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join its high-acuity Trauma and Acute Care Surgery team as a full-time Nocturnist, delivering advanced overnight surgical care in a Level II trauma center.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive Trauma and Acute Care Surgery services for overnight coverage (7 P–7

    A).
  • Perform assessments, order and interpret diagnostics, and develop treatment plans.
  • Manage trauma and emergency general surgery patients across inpatient settings.
  • Support trauma surgeons with procedures and ongoing patient management.
  • Work autonomously while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Document all care using Epic EMR.
  • Ensure compliance with medical staff bylaws and privileging processes.
  • Maintain high-quality patient safety and performance standards.
  • Participate in UCHealth OAP mentorship, leadership development, and ongoing education.
  • Not performing any locum assignments; no locum‑to‑perm roles.
  • No visa sponsorship is available (no J‑1 or H‑1B visas accepted).
  • Not accepting fresh graduates; must have at least two (2) years of trauma surgery experience or completion of a surgical fellowship.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a Master’s degree in Nursing.
  • Certification by ANCC or AANPCB.
  • Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Colorado.
  • Eligibility for DEA and Medicare/Medicaid provider status.
  • No sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA.
  • Board‑certified and holding BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross).
  • Minimum of 2 years of trauma surgery experience or completion of a surgical fellowship (highly preferred).
Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual salary ranges from $136,822 to $179,379, based on experience.
  • Eligible to earn up to $10,000 annually through the Quality Value Incentive Plan (QVIP).
  • Relocation bonus up to $10,000 for eligible candidates.
  • Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage.
  • CME allowance of up to $3,500 per year plus 5 CME days.
  • 403(b) retirement plan with employer match and optional 457(b) plan for additional savings.
