Pediatric Gastroenterology Triage Nurse Job Summary
The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine is seeking a Clinical Nurse to function as a member of the Pediatric Gastroenterology team at the Primary Children’s Hospital Lehi campus. The team consists of 10 RNs working with 4 NPs and 20 MDs. The nurse will deliver professional nursing care to patients via in‑person encounters, phone, or patient portal, utilizing strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status, implement clinical nursing interventions, develop and evaluate patient care plans, and provide patient education materials to enhance outcomes.
The nurse ensures a safe and therapeutic environment.
The position is located at the Intermountain Primary Children’s Hospital Miller Campus, 2250 North Miller Campus Drive, Lehi, UT 84043, with occasional travel to the Primary Children’s Hospital Eccles Outpatient Building in Salt Lake City, UT.
