Job SummaryThe Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to work on our team with an emphasis ingeneral cardiology. The position is an outpatient clinic-focused role, primarily based out of our Stansbury communityclinic
. The position will involve both independent workand close collaboration with physician partner/s and other advanced practice clinicians.

Responsibilities- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlinedabove.
- Demonstrate clinical competence and in-depth knowledge of specialtyarea.
- Demonstrate leadership, teaching, research, and communication skills.
- Ability to provide care appropriate to the population served.
Required:
- Licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the State ofUtah.
Preferred:
- Certification in ACLS/BLS/NRP/ATLS may be required by your department or by privileging criteria.
- Utah State prescriptive privileges.
- Licensure is obtained by completing a Master's degree in Nursing or equivalency (the only equivalency to the Master's degree is currentlicensure as a Nurse Practitioner) and a National Certificationwhich requires the successful completion of a nationally accreditedexamination.
UHPPM 1-56 requires that newly hired non-physician providers applyfor credentialing and privileging at the time of hire.
This position is patient-sensitive and must fulfill all associatedrequirements. We protect our patients, coworkers and community byrequiring all patient-sensitive employees to be immunized according to CDC standards and hospital policy. Limited exemptions may bemade for documented medical contraindications or religious beliefsthat object to vaccinations.
