Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Join a well-established inpatient cardiology team at a respected 300-bed Level II Trauma Center in Salt Lake City. This assignment supports the Heart Failure service during a maternity leave and is ideal for an experienced Heart Failure NP or PA who enjoys managing complex cardiac patients in a collaborative hospital setting. The hospital has earned national recognition for cardiovascular care and clinical excellence.

  Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
• No call
• EPIC EMR

• Daily inpatient rounding
• Heart failure evaluation and management
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists, nursing, case management, and ancillary staff
• Optimize guideline-directed medical therapy and coordinate discharge planning

• Active Utah NP or PA license
• Active Utah DEA
• Heart Failure certification/experience required
• Recent inpatient cardiology/heart failure management experience
• Comfortable independently managing hospitalized heart failure patients

• 300-bed acute care hospital
