Job Summary and Qualifications

As a highly compassion Cardiac Rehab Nurse you will provide individualizedcareplansforthepatients. You will demonstrate clinical competency, nursing judgment, teaching skills, and a commitment to providing quality patient care. In this role:

  • You are responsiblefortheassessment, developmentandimplementationofthepatients individualizedtreatmentplan.
  • You will demonstratesclinical andteachingskillsandacommitmenttoimproving thequalityofpatientcare.
  • You will utilizeaninterdisciplinaryprocessto provide comprehensive education which includes assessing theabilitytolearn, speciallearningneedsandcontinuallyevaluatingtheeffectivenessofteaching andproducingthedesiredpatientoutcomes.
  • You will documentassessment,careplan,interventions and education objectivity and timely use of the computer technologyrequiredby the department.
  • You will demonstrate knowledge of the occurrence reporting system and usesthesystem toreportpotentialsafetyissues.
  • You will work in both our outpatient clinic and inpatient working with our ICU and step down population on ambulation, hemodynamic monitoring and education.

Qualifications:

  • Currentlicensureasaregisterednurseinthestateof Utahor Registered Nursecompactlicensefrom  participatingcompactstates.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred.
  • American Red Crossor  American Heart Association Basic Life Support  Course(BLSorBCLS) and Certification.
  • American Red Crossor American Heart Association Advanced  Life Support Course (ALSorACLS) and Certificationwithin6monthsofhire.
  • Oneor more years experience in

    Cardiovascular experience strongly preferred
  • 2 or more years higher acuity nursing experience (EKG, ACLS, general bedside) required
