Salt Lake Behavioral Health is currently seeking a compassionate and talented Registered Nurse (RN) on a PRN Basis to join our team.
Shifts:
Night Shift (6pm-6am) and Day Shift (6am-6pm).

Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care to psychiatric patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation in collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team. This role coordinates patient care, administers medications, supports treatment planning, and maintains a safe therapeutic environment. The RN serves as the clinical leader on assigned shifts, ensuring continuity of care, patient safety, and adherence to standards of nursing practice.

Qualifications
Education:
Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required;
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience:
No minimum required. Licensure:
Currently licensed to practice by the Utah State Board of Nursing
Additional Requirements:
Thorough knowledge of Joint Commission, HCFA, OSHA requirements, and state and federal regulatory requirements. CPR certification and successful completion of training in Handle With Care within 90 days of employment, and prior to assisting in restraining procedures.
