Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Primary Care | Locum Tenens

Rhino Medical is hiring an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a short-term outpatient Primary Care locum tenens assignment in the Ogden and Salt Lake City, Utah area.

Coverage is needed for four weekday shifts September 14–18, 2026, across outpatient clinics in Ogden, Salt Lake City, and North Salt Lake.

This is a focused Primary Care and Acute Care assignment with consistent 8:00 AM–4:30 PM daytime hours. There is no Occupational Health or Workers' Compensation component to this assignment.

• Lunch: 1:00 PM–1:30 PM

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient Primary Care services
• Evaluate and treat acute patient concerns
• Perform appropriate patient assessments
• Develop treatment and follow-up plans
• Provide ongoing patient education
• Document visits and clinical care in eClinical Works
• Collaborate with clinic staff to support continuity of care

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Appropriate active Utah professional license
• Recent Primary Care and/or outpatient Acute Care experience
• Comfortable practicing across multiple outpatient clinic locations
• eClinical
  
  Works (eCW) experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
