RN - NICU

Travel Registered Nurse - NICU Location

Salt Lake City, Utah

This is a 13-week contract position.

19:00 - 07:00, rotating weekends (4 shifts per month)

We are seeking a skilled Travel Registered Nurse for our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in caring for premature and critically ill neonates in a high-acuity environment.

• Neonatal resuscitation and stabilization
• Management of Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) and high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) therapy
• Mechanical ventilation management and surfactant administration
• Line management including umbilical venous catheter (UVC) and umbilical arterial catheter (UAC)
• PICC line management and maintenance
• Administration of blood products, Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN), and lipids
• Phototherapy for hyperbilirubinemia and feeding tube placement
• Management of therapeutic hypothermia protocols
• Medication and infusion management in a neonatal setting
• Conducting discharge planning and caregiver education

• Minimum of 2 years recent Level 3 or greater NICU experience
• Experience with respiratory support for neonates
• Competency in managing patients on CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, and mechanical ventilation
• Experience with umbilical lines (UAC/UVC), PICC lines, and central line management
• Experience administering and monitoring parenteral nutrition, IV medications, and neonatal drips
• Proficiency in neonatal assessment and stabilization
• Current RN License
• Certifications:
  
  NRP, BLS, STABLE
