Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a hospital setting. This position involves providing perioperative nursing care for surgical patients in a high-volume surgical environment. The role demands a focus on patient safety, surgical assistance, and adherence to hospital policies to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

  The facility is located on the 2nd floor of a main hospital tower, within the Outpatient Surgery Services cost center.
• Schedule:
  
  Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Valid nursing license, experience working in an operating room environment, familiarity with surgical procedures, knowledge of starting IVs, patient vitals, shaving, obtaining consent, brief health history, medication administration, and post-surgical discharge instructions. Certifications must include ALS (Advanced Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support).
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Experience with surgical procedures from pre-operative and post-operative perspectives, IV start skills, and extensive OR experience.
• Additional Information:
  The position is for two openings, with a target start date of 10/05/2026 and end date of 01/04/2027. No on-call requirements or weekend shifts are specified; minimal staffing requirements are for a surgical setting with up to four patients per nurse.
