Landscape Maintenance Foreman

The landscape foreman will be responsible for managing the landscape jobs while supervising and working alongside a crew. Will occasionally be asked to assist the landscape installation team

• Oversee maintenance crew while working alongside them in mowing, trimming, fertilizing and installation of plants or other products, and removing snow from driveways and sidewalks.
• Operate power equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, pruning equipment and snow blowers.
• Plan and manage the morning assignments, loading of equipment and materials required to complete daily work.
• Will be responsible for inspecting equipment, vehicles and tools for operability and will assign maintenance on those items.
• Ensure work activities are carried out safely and properly and train crew for safe and appropriate job methods.
• Complete and submit required paperwork to accountant for billing.
• Monitor job hours for employees and report absences to clerk.
• Communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner.

• Must have 3-5 years experience in grounds maintenance.
• Must have high ethics and integrity.
• Must have a valid US Drivers license (and will be required to drive vehicles, pull trailers and operate plow equipment on truck).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors.
• Ability to operate power equipment safely and have good communication skills.
• Bilingual is a plus but must be able to communicate to managers in English effectively.
• Must have flexible work schedule to work around weather conditions and be able to work independently.
