Quality Technician

Kelly® Professional & Industrial is seeking a Quality Technician to work at a premier medical device manufacturing organization in Salt Lake City, UT. Sound like something you're interested in?

Pay Rate: $26.80/hour

Shift: 8:00AM-5:00PM

What's a typical day as a Quality Technician? You'll be:

  • Cataloging and documenting returned complaint devices and products
  • Photographing devices as received and decontaminating used medical devices
  • Conducting initial visual assessments and documenting findings in the complaint database
  • Writing effective reports on preliminary investigations
  • Performing basic troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and product testing (leak tests, flow tests, basic measurements)
  • Communicating professionally with internal and external customers
  • Following cGMP guidelines and maintaining high standards of organization and detail
  • Assisting Quality Engineers with special projects and investigations

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Possess at least 2+ years in a similar quality function working with medical devices
  • Are at least 18 years of age
  • Can read product specifications and test procedures accurately
  • Have knowledge of cGMP and basic math skills
  • Are skilled with Microsoft Office and basic computer operations;
    Trackwise experience is a plus
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Are detail oriented, highly organized, and able to handle used and contaminated devices safely
  • Can lift up to 30lbs and work on your feet for 80% of the day
