This opportunity entails assisting in the development and supporting the implementation of a Project Quality Plan (PQP) meeting the requirements of the HNTB Quality Management System (QMS) and project/client requirements. Provides recurring training to project team members on the PQP. Assist the Quality Manager to manage and oversee compliance with the PQP, including subconsultants. Support the Quality Manager in the development, collection and presentation of project quality performance metrics.
Assist the Quality Manager in performing quality audits and managing corrective/preventive action requests resulting from those audits.
- Assists the Quality Manager in completing and managing the Client Deliverable Quality Matrix for the project.
- Proactively keeping the team aware of required quality check and review dates to assure compliance.
- Assists the Quality Manager in performing Quality Assurance (QA) Reviews of project deliverables, as dictated by the Client Deliverable Quality Matrix.
- Assists the Quality Manager in the development, collection and analysis of project quality performance metrics.
- Upon the request of the Quality Manager, reporting on quality performance to the project team and potentially the client.
- Liaisons with the project team to identify and implement continual improvement opportunities.
- Assists the Quality Manager in providing recurring training on the PQP to project team members.
- Supports the implementation of 4for4 delivery and client quality management objectives under the direction of the Quality Manager.
- May implement quality audit program and monitors and reports on program metrics under the direction of the Quality Manager.
- May mentor and provide guidance to earlier career Project Quality Specialists.
- Works with Quality Manager to review recommendations to project and office leadership regarding the performance of the program/project quality management plan.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Management/Engineering, math/science or other management related study 6 years previous experience, in a supporting role, with quality management systems, providing training, answering questions, assisting with quality audits, maintaining quality records, collecting and analyzing quality performance measures, and making recommendations for improvement to quality plans.
- In lieu of degree, 10 years of relevant experience.

- Previous experience with design-build projects, when necessary
- Completion of quality management training.
- American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certifications.
- PMP, DBIA, AICP, or CMAA Certifications.
- Completion of project management training.
