QA Technician
Bridor USA is seeking a QA Technician to support food safety and quality at our new Salt Lake City manufacturing facility.
The QA Technician works directly on the production floor to verify that products, processes, documentation, and employees are meeting Bridor's quality and food safety standards. This position will conduct inspections, complete quality checks, review records, identify issues, and work closely with Production, Sanitation, and Quality leadership to address concerns.
This is a hands-on Quality Assurance position in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
What You Will Do- Perform routine quality and food safety inspections on the production floor
- Review production and quality records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Perform and document metal detector checks and other required food safety verifications
- Monitor employee compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Verify sanitation and food safety requirements are being followed
- Support pest-control monitoring and verification activities
- Identify, document, and communicate quality or food safety non-conformities
- Assist with corrective and preventive actions when issues are identified
- Train and reinforce GMP, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements with employees
- Support continuous improvement activities related to product quality and food safety
- Work with the Quality Manager to maintain and update procedures, records, and quality programs
- Escalate food safety or quality concerns to the appropriate leadership team when necessary
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred
- Food manufacturing or other process-manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Previous Quality Assurance, quality control, food safety, or GMP experience preferred
- PCQI certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to recognize quality or food safety concerns and communicate them clearly
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a manufacturing team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Candidates must be able to work the regular overnight schedule:
Monday–Wednesday | 6:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.
This role also requires flexibility to work other shifts when business needs require, including for training, production coverage, staffing needs, or other operational requirements.
