JOB DESCRIPTION
The Quality Inspector performs activities related to quality assurance including, but not limited to: inspection of components and finished goods, completing associated documentation, and supporting other quality-related activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Visual inspection, measurement, and functional testing of components and finished assemblies
- Perform other inspection activities as needed for process validations
- Document nonconformances when defects are identified
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- General document review, scanning, and filing of quality records
- Assist in investigations as needed
- Other duties as assigned

- High school diploma is required
- 2 years of experience performing inspections in a medical device manufacturing environment or equivalent is preferred
- Ability to read and write in English
- Experience with MS Office is required
- Ability to use common gauges and measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, vision systems, pin gauges, etc.
- Ability to follow controlled quality document instructions when performing tasks
- Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Knowledge of the application of sampling techniques
- Knowledge of good documentation practices in a regulated environment
- Ability to apply basic quality tools for problem‑solving and improvement
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply a high level of attention to detail and ability to work independently or as a team
- The employee is required to work in a cleanroom environment and is expected to follow the guidelines and rules for working in the cleanroom, including following gowning procedures, covering hair in a hairnet, and wearing personal protective equipment as appropriate.
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently/occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.
- The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee is frequently required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
