Quality Mechanical Inspector

Complex Fabricators produces parts for a variety of markets, including aerospace customers. Our goal is to ensure that our products are made to the highest of standards.

We are looking for a responsible Quality Inspector to maintain our standards of quality by approving outgoing material and products as well as production procedures and recording quality results. You will be a firm advocate of quality in our business.

The ideal candidate will have experience in an ISO
9001 or AS9100 environment, have significant mechanical inspection experience, possess a trained eye for detail, and will be reliable and committed. In-depth knowledge of quality standards is essential. This position will provide great opportunity to an individual looking to expand their career further with a growing company.

• Read blueprints, specifications, and instructions to determine the quality requirements for the product.
• Perform and document First-Article, In-process, and Final Inspections, communicate required adjustments to production personnel, and release finished product for delivery.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
• Accomplish quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

• Working knowledge of GD&T (ASME 14.5-2009)
• Working knowledge of welding symbols
• Experience in preparing AS9102B First Article Inspections Reports
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments
• Proven experience and proficiency as a mechanical quality inspector
• A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
• Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies
• CMM and/or Portable Arm with PCDMISsoftware experience
