Quality Inspector -A2​/B2; SLC)

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing and quality assurance industry, is seeking a Quality Inspector I-A2/B2 (SLC) to join their team. As a Quality Inspector I-A2/B2 (SLC), you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting inspection and compliance processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Inspector I-A2/B2 (SLC)

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Pay Range: $20.33

Shift: 12-hour rotating shift, 6:30PM - 6:30AM

What's the Job?

• Perform accurate mechanical, physical, and visual inspections of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies according to inspection plans and specifications
• Conduct visual inspections and basic functional testing using microscopes, calipers, and micrometers
• Support quality documentation processes, including archiving and scanning documents in electronic systems
• Initiate Non-Conformance reports and support CAPA activities to ensure quality standards are maintained
• Assist with special projects and continuous improvement initiatives as they arise

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent; AA or Technical Degree preferred
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of medical device regulations and FDA standards is preferred
• Ability to perform inspection tasks using microscopes, calipers, and micrometers
