CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a Quality Technician II.

  • Type: Contract

  • Location: Salt Lake City, UT
  • Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Salt Lake City, UT.
  • Pay Rate: Based on experience
  • Work Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Description

The Quality Technician II performs quality-related functions including product sampling, inspection, testing, process validation, and certification testing. This role makes day-to-day quality decisions, manages nonconforming products, and supports investigations and other quality assurance activities.

Requirements
  • Perform daily fit, form, and function testing in the QA lab.

  • Conduct certification testing and mold qualification testing for new and modified molds.

  • Complete incoming inspections and collect/process lot samples.

  • Gather product samples for testing and operate laboratory testing and measuring equipment according to established procedures.

  • Identify and manage nonconforming product in accordance with quarantine procedures.

  • Make day-to-day quality decisions and communicate required actions to appropriate personnel.

  • Assist with customer concern investigations and other quality-related activities.

  • Follow laboratory safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment.

  • Quality laboratory experience preferred; exposure to chemicals and odors may occur.

Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in a laboratory setting.

  • 12+ months of quality laboratory experience preferred.

  • Experience with product inspection, sampling, testing, and laboratory equipment.

  • Ability to follow established testing, quality, and safety procedures.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to make sound day-to-day quality decisions.
