Position SummaryThis Property Manager role is primarily based atWest Haven, with five days per week onsite at West Haven, and one of those days split between West Haven and
You will also be responsible for:- One full Walk-Thru per week at each property (West Haven + South Weber)
- Weekly property photos submitted 1x per week when you are onsite
And here’s the key part:
When you are not actively performing onsite tasks for West Haven or South Weber, you will assist virtually across the rest of Britelock’s portfolio.
This includes helping other locations in different states with customer support, collections, scheduling, documentation, and general operations as needed.
What You’ll Be Doing- Assist customers with rentals, payments, and account support
- Help support other Britelock locations during downtime from onsite tasks
- Maintain tenant records and complete documentation accurately
- Uphold occupancy goals, review targets, and service standards
- Complete manual collection calls and enforce lien workflows
- Respond to tenant inquiries within 24 hours
- Perform one full walkthrough per week per property
- Submit weekly property photos 1x per week during an onsite day
- Ensure timely overlocks and perform lock cuts at 31+ days past due and comfortable using tools, grinder, PPE required for lock cuts and lock drilling
- Inspect cleanliness, lighting, gate access, signage, and unit conditions
- Coordinate maintenance needs and follow through until resolved
- Keep both locations clean, safe, and “move‑in ready” at all times
- Monthly Maintenance - Spraying for weeds, insects, and maintaining bait stations for pest control of the facilities with proper PPE.
- 2+ years of self‑storage, property management, or facilities experience
- Self‑starter who works independently and doesn’t require hand‑holding
- Comfortable lifting, bending, sweeping, and performing hands‑on physical work
- Strong communicator, especially in high‑stress or difficult conversations
- Problem solver who stays calm and keeps moving when things break or tenants escalate
- Tech‑savvy and experienced with PMS systems (WSS, Sitelink, Yardi, Cubby, etc.)
- Reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed between stores and supply runs)
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
- Weekend availability and on‑call coverage required

- Pay: $23–$25/hour DOE
- Retention Bonus (flat rate of $1,750 paid in a lump sum after 180 days of employment - based on a 12 month retention)
