Job SummaryHourly Research Assistants
Performs varied support functions, including gathering and contributing information or materials for research projects at the Rocky Mountain Center for Occupational and Environmental Health (RMCOEH). RMCOEH became Utah’s first statutorily established multi-university program in 2021. The Center works especially closely with 10 transdisciplinary Center Program Directors who hold faculty appointments in 4 U of U departments and will work closely with faculty and staff at Weber State University to contribute to the success of this prominent, new legislative initiative and partnership.
Opportunities may include authorship on manuscripts, presentations at domestic and international conferences, and development of research skills and knowledge.

ResponsibilitiesResearch Assistant, I
Administrative tasks in support of the clinical research program or laboratory. Tasks will vary by department and research category. Typically, manages the front desk, organizes files, and performs other clerical duties associated with research studies and programs. Recruits participants, verifies eligibility, and enrolls subjects. Schedules participant visits and maintains records. Transports samples or laboratory equipment. Monitors inventory levels and orders supplies.
