Research Assistant/Analyst

Job Summary Gathers, organizes and analyzes data through interviews, literature searches, medical record reviews and related non‑lab methods for use in studies, publications and other research related uses.

• Collect and compile data from a variety of sources; may enter data into a PC or computer terminal.
• Statistically analyze data to include calculating the mean, median, and standard deviation, plotting scatter grams and performing multiple regression analysis in addition to other statistical computations.
• Edit research papers, project reports, proposals and curriculum materials before publication or presentation.
• Prepare final data disposition formats; maintain an internal library on project information resources and final data collected.
• May work with research personnel in the design and preparation of research projects and in recording data.

  Office environment.
• Physical requirements:
  
  nearly continuously sitting, hearing, listening, talking; often repetitive hand motion such as typing, walking; seldom bending, reaching overhead.

• Bachelor's degree in a Social or Behavioral Science, Liberal Arts, or a field related to the area of research, or equivalency.
• One year of experience in research and analytical techniques.
• Demonstrated statistical and quantitative analysis experience.
• Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills.
