This will be a temporary work-study position for eligible students with FWS funding, supporting administrative and technical operations related to human subjects research with a strong emphasis on computational data organization, microscopy image management, and research productivity. The role assists faculty and Principal Investigators in organizing, curating, and preparing large-scale microscopy image datasets that form the foundation of multiple manuscripts in progress.
The individual in this role will work closely with faculty to help transform years of accumulated research data - including thousands of microscopy images - into organized, analyzable datasets that support the completion of approximately 25 scholarly papers. This position is ideal for a student with an engineering or computer science background who is interested in applying computational skills to real-world human biology and medical research questions and is eager to learn the biological context behind the data.
May be included in paper authorship depending on contribution to work.
Work will include subject identification across molecular databases.
