Brighton Store Cook

Overview

As a Cook 1 at our Brighton Store, you will be responsible for assisting in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. You'll work closely with the kitchen team to ensure the timely and high-quality production of menu items. This position requires basic culinary skills and a willingness to learn and grow within the culinary field.

• Assist in food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and marinating meats.
• Follow recipes and cooking techniques to produce consistent and high-quality dishes.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas.
• Assist in receiving and storing food supplies.
• Help customers and cashier.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Basic knife skills and safety.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff.
• Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets.
