Hourly Rate: $18.00 + Gratuity

The Banquet Server is responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service to guests during events and banquets at Park Hyatt Toronto. This role requires a strong commitment to guest satisfaction, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. As a Banquet Server, you will play a key role in creating seamless and memorable experiences for our guests.

• Serves patrons with food and beverages in a positive and friendly manner.
• Provides information to help food and beverage selections.
• Prepares room for dining by clothing tables and setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils.
• Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
• Helps patrons select food and beverages by suggesting courses, explaining the chef’s specialties, identifying appropriate beverage pairings, and answering food preparation questions.
• Transmits orders to bar and kitchen by recording patrons’ choices and identifying patrons’ special dietary needs and requests.
• Notifies kitchen staff by noting timing of meal progression.
• Serves orders by picking up and delivering patrons’ choices from bar and kitchen and delivering accompanying condiments from service bars.
• Responds to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs and observing dining process.
• Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and being alert to patron spills or other special needs.
• Concludes dining experience by acknowledging choice of establishment and inviting patrons to return.

• Service focused personality is essential.
• Previous fine dining or luxury level service knowledge and training.
• Minimum 2 years of previous work experience in a world‑class luxury brand in a similar capacity.
• Current Smart Serve certification.
• Must have a flexible schedule, be highly motivated and quality driven.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Constant walking & standing.
• Frequent lifting, crouching/bending/stooping/kneeling.
