Salt & Honey is a makers market offering a unique space for designers, artists, crafters, food experts, and vintage collectors a space to sell their independently produced goods all year! In 2019 we moved to the heart of the 9th & 9th district, a community that focuses and supports local small businesses.

We feature a large selection of ever-changing local, small or independently designed products showcasing the best of Utah and beyond. We are so excited about our new home where we will house not only our beloved retail store but an art gallery and event space.

Along with our house brand we also carry a small collection of international brands with strong design or ethical practices - something for everyone!

Winter Village at Downtown Daybreak

Come work the most magical corner of the valley this winter. Salt & Honey is building the Winter Village at Downtown Daybreak — a glowing, European-style holiday market set right beside the Daybreak Holiday Lights, full of makers, cocoa, photo moments, and thousands of happy visitors a night. We're looking for warm, capable Sales Associates to help us run it — the friendly faces who make the whole village feel welcoming.

About Salt & Honey

Salt & Honey Market is a curated shop and artisan collective in Salt Lake City. For over a decade we've championed makers and built spaces people love to wander. The Winter Village is our biggest production yet, and you'd be a holiday elf, part of making it feel like magic, night after night.

You’re the heart of guest experience on the ground. Your two main homes are our own Salt & Honey booth — where you’ll help customers, ring up sales, and keep the space beautiful — and our merch and info booth, where you’ll point people toward the photo ops, the cocoa, the rink, and the makers they’re looking for. It's a role for someone who loves people, stays warm and cheerful on a cold night, and takes real pride in a great customer experience.

Good to know: this is a self-staffed market — the vendors run their own booths, so you’re not manning their stalls. You’re focused on the Salt & Honey booth and on helping guests have a wonderful night across the whole village.

• Run the Salt & Honey booth — greet customers, share what we love, ring up sales, wrap gifts, and keep the merch stocked and the space looking lovely.
• Be guest services — answer questions, give directions, point people to photo moments, food, the ice rink, and the makers, and help families find their way.
• Basic Merchandising — restocking shelves, processing transferred product and general Santa's Workshop type tasks to keep the store humming.
• Keep the village welcoming — tidy, festive, and warm; flag anything that needs attention to a manager.
• Help as needed — welcoming guests as they arrive from the Holiday Lights, working with the team on setup and takedown for our vendors. Always willing to be a helping hand.
• Support the team — pitch in on various small tasks, and whatever keeps the day running smoothly.

• A people person — genuinely warm and friendly, the kind of person guests are glad to talk to. If you don’t like to smile and be cheerful, like all the time channeling your inner Buddy the Elf then we aren’t a good fit.
• Customer service experience — retail, hospitality, or events; you know how to make someone’s visit better.
