As we are expanding, we are looking for a motivated, experienced Used Commercial Trucks Wholesale Buyer/Seller to join our team
The Wholesale Manager will play a pivotal role in sourcing, negotiating, and selling used commercial trucks to wholesale buyers. This position requires strong market knowledge, negotiation skills, and a proven ability to drive profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Buying:
Source and purchase high-quality used commercial trucks through auctions, trade-ins, and fleet sales, ensuring inventory aligns with market demand - Selling:
Develop and maintain relationships with wholesale buyers, dealerships, and businesses to drive truck sales - Analyze market trends, pricing, and customer needs to optimize profitability
- Negotiate deals effectively to achieve favorable terms for the company
- Maintain accurate records of transactions, inventory, and customer interactions
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to promote inventory and identify sales opportunities
- Travel as required to attend auctions, meet clients, and inspect vehicles
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for senior management
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in wholesale buying/selling of used commercial trucks or related fields
- Store network of industry contacts - including dealers, auctioneers, and fleet managers
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to analyze market data and trends to make informed decisions
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills - Self-Motivated and driven to achieve sales targets
- Ability to travel frequently
- A valid driver's license
- Strong understanding of truck specifications and fleet purchasing needs
