HVAC Service Sales Representative

About the Role

The HVAC Account Representative Service III is critical to the overall growth and profitability of our HVAC Service business. The chosen candidate will initiate, establish, and build profitable service relationships with new customers, focusing on selling renewable maintenance agreements in an assigned geographic territory.

• Identify, target, and qualify prospective new customers, leveraging market conditions and networks to uncover new leads.
• Contact prospective customers and schedule appointments, building a referral network to identify new customers.
• Conduct sales calls to identify key problems, position Johnson Controls as the supplier of choice, and propose solutions with an emphasis on digital service offerings, sustainability, and decarbonization.
• Review and finalize proposals, secure customer commitment, and conduct kick-off meetings.
• Maintain service agreements, extend agreements, support collections, and keep management informed using
• Develop and implement territory marketing plans aligned with the Building Solutions business strategy, attend trade shows, and participate in professional organizations.

• 2-3 years of progressive sales experience.
• High attention to detail and aptitude for technical knowledge.
• Excellent presentation skills for individual and group communications.
• Experience selling services and intangibles.
• Knowledge of building HVAC systems and sales methodologies is a plus.
• Experience with

Salary range: $34,000–$56,000, plus a competitive sales commission plan based on project, quarterly, and annual margin. Comprehensive benefits package including 401(k), medical, dental, vision care, and paid vacation (15 days first year).
