Scientist , Analytical Chemistry Development

Our client, a global leader in medical technology, is seeking a Scientist 1 (Analytical Chemistry Development) to join their team. As a Scientist 1, you will be part of the Research & Development department supporting lab-based testing and analysis teams. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, a strong communicator, and eager to learn, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Scientist 1 (Analytical Chemistry Development)

Location: Salt Lake City, UT (Onsite)

Pay Range: $27–$29/hour (depending on experience and education)

• Conduct analytical chemistry and in vitro biomedical testing on various medical device products.
• Execute technical and cross-functional project work in the lab.
• Follow and execute standard operating procedures (SOPs) and test methods.
• Support maintenance and cleanliness of lab facilities and instruments.
• Document results, write protocols, and assist with other lab duties as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, or a closely related field.
• Hands‑on experience in wet lab, bio lab, or analytical chemistry work.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to follow protocols and learn new laboratory techniques quickly.
• Self‑starter mindset with a willingness to take initiative and learn.
