Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist - Mexico

A recognized leader in the consumer wellness industry with operations across multiple international markets is seeking a Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist to support its product portfolio in Mexico. This is a financially stable, debt-free organization with a long history of growth and employee retention.

This person will manage regulatory activities for products sold in Mexico, including product classification, registrations, dossier preparation, submissions, renewals, labeling, and import requirements. They will also serve as a regulatory resource to Marketing, Operations, Research and Development, and Quality Assurance. Need understanding of Mexico's regulatory environment and know how to move products through registration and compliance requirements. Must be organized, analytical, bilingual in English and Spanish, and comfortable managing multiple projects while collaborating across teams, countries, and time zones.

• Manage regulatory affairs activities for products sold in Mexico
• Oversee product classification, registration, dossier preparation, submissions, and renewals
• Monitor Mexican regulations and provide guidance on potential risks and business impact
• Advise internal teams on formulations, labeling, packaging, quality, and product claims
• Coordinate with internal teams, local staff, consultants, and regulatory authorities
• Support USMCA country-of-origin documentation and import permits for dietary supplements
• Review product labels and marketing materials for regulatory compliance
• Evaluate country-specific product testing requirements and specifications
• Communicate regulatory changes and provide preventive recommendations to internal stakeholders
• Maintain organized regulatory dossiers, records, and filing systems

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, legal, or related discipline preferred
• 3-5 years of regulatory affairs experience
• At least one year of experience supporting regulatory requirements in Mexico
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required
• Experience with food, dietary supplements, cosmetics, personal care, or home-care products preferred
• Knowledge of product registration, labeling, dossiers, submissions, and renewals
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
• Excellent organization, critical thinking, and analytical skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
• Willingness to relocate and work on-site five days per week
