Position Title: Security Officer Perimeter Patrol – Salt Lake City, UT

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $25.49 / Hour

• Wednesday: 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM
• Thursday: 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM
• Saturday: 04:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Sunday: 04:00 PM – 12:00 AM

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may need attention.
• Monitor access points and verify entry authorization for employees, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols and assigned post orders.
• Support site operations by reporting maintenance concerns, access control issues, and/or policy violations, while maintaining a professional presence and providing clear directions when needed.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
