Mobile Patrol Officer — Full Time

West Valley City, UT
Wage: $19.00/HR
Overnight Shifts. Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Mobile Patrol Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, which may include operating a vehicle to patrol. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. The Mobile Patrol Officer maintains the security and safety of multiple sites by conducting patrols via a motor vehicle.
A valid driver’s license and clean driving history are required for this role.
- Monitor premises to maintain a safe and secure environment, which may include operating a vehicle to patrol.
- Preserve order and enforce regulations and directives for client sites regarding personnel, visitors, and the area.
- Conduct patrols across multiple sites using a motor vehicle as part of daily duties.
- 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma, GED, or ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
- Above-average computer/technology skills.
- Excellent customer service and ability to work in a team leader role as needed.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
- Strong attention to detail and vigilance throughout shift.
- Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
- Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening, including drug screen and background investigation.
- Valid Utah State Driver's License required.
