- Supports a fast‑paced environment; creates, maintains and leverages working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Develops and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
- Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations.
- Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies.
- Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials.
- Conducts AFSO duties, security education classes, and security audits.
- Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive actions to be taken.
- Implements the NISP.
- Maintains working knowledge of 32
CFR Part
117 (NISPOM). - Builds and maintains a strong security program compliant with the 32
CFR Part
117 (NISPOM) and all other applicable security requirements. - Proactively supports security requirements for proposal activities, including development of Basis of Estimate (BOE) for security labor support for classified programs.
- Develops, implements, and maintains a comprehensive security education, training, and awareness program.
- Plans and performs security inspections, including self‑inspections, CSA inspections, and internal inspections as required.
- Investigates security incidents and prepares reports to submit to CSA personnel.
- Leads and performs security tasks associated with construction or modification and approval of classified areas.
- Develops, implements, and maintains security documentation, including OPSEC plans, CONOPS, SOPs, desktop instructions, and more.
- Leads contract security classification actions, including reviewing and interpreting Form DD‑254 and creating Form DD‑254 for subcontractors.
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5+ years of industrial security or relevant experience, or MS degree and 3+ years of industrial security or relevant experience. Four additional years of applicable work experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
- Current active Secret clearance with ability to obtain/maintain Top Secret.
- US citizenship required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 8+ years of industrial security or relevant experience, or MS degree and 6+ years of industrial security or relevant experience. Four additional years of applicable work experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
- Current active Secret clearance with ability to obtain/maintain Top Secret.
- US citizenship required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
