Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Office Patrol in Salt Lake City, UT
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a prestigious financial institution location as a Front Desk professional, serving as the first point of contact for guests, employees, and visitors. In this welcoming, stationary role, you will help support security-related operations through access control, communication, and customer service while reflecting a caring, reliable, and professional presence.

Pay Rate: $27.35 / Hour
Job Schedule:
- Mon: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM
- Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Wed: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM
- Thu: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Provide customer service at the front desk by following site‑specific procedures, managing visitor access, and supporting security‑related protocols for a financial institution location.
- Monitor lobby activity, verify identification and/or credentials, maintain visitor logs, and help deter unauthorized access in accordance with site guidelines.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with employees, visitors, and emergency personnel as appropriate.
- Answer questions, provide directions, receive deliveries, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contact.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
