Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will support access points, interact with employees and visitors, and deliver strong customer service and communication. • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting security-related issues to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, trailers, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor the movement of visitors, drivers, and/or vendors entering and exiting the location in accordance with site protocols, and communicate clearly with personnel regarding security-related questions or directions.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by observing busy traffic areas, checking for restricted access concerns, and reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations through proper channels.

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
