This position provides the United States Air Force with a unique capability to plan, organize, coordinate and employ special operations in support of sensitive, compartmented, and special access missions directed by the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Secretary of Defense (SECDEF).
Key ResponsibilitiesDUTY 1:
Implements and administers the Information Security Program for the Command DUTY 2:
Administers the Personnel Security Program. Provides policy interpretation and guidance for the Personnel Security Program for assigned organized and all entities involved in the SAP. DUTY 3:
Administers the Physical Security Program. Ensures appropriate documentation and accreditation of SAP facilities are performed. DUTY 4:
Administers the Industrial Security Program.
Insures unit personnel conduct periodic security inspections of cleared facilities to ensure compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual, the NISPOM supplement, PSDs and PSCGs for various classified programs. DUTY 5:
Administers the Security Education Program. Responsible for planning, establishing, organizing, and conducting a security education program for assigned personnel.
This position is with Department of the Air Force Headquarters, Department of the Air Force.
What is the salary for this position?The posted pay range is $106437 – $138370/yr.
What security clearance is required?This position requires a Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance.
