Burglar Alarm Manager

Les Olson Company is one of the fastest‑growing and most capable technology service providers in the West. We’re looking for an experienced alarm installation agent to become a Burglar Alarm Qualifying Agent and join our structured cabling team.

• Has within the past ten years, while working as an alarm company agent, accumulated at least 6,000 hours (3 years) working for a licensed alarm company, at least 2,000 hours (1 year) of which were in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Has successfully taken, or is willing to take, the Utah Burglar Alarm Qualifier exam and the Utah Burglar Alarm Security Laws and Rules exam.
• Excellent customer‑service skills and patience in explaining systems to non‑technical customers.
• Clean driver’s license and reliable means of transportation.
• Willingness to travel on occasion.
• Scissor and boom lift driving experience preferred.

• Install alarm, security camera, and door access systems in commercial settings in accordance with applicable codes and regulations.
• Test all installed systems to ensure functionality.
• Provide thorough training to customers on use of alarm systems.
• Provide the sort of attentive and thorough customer service that Les Olson IT is known for.
• Collaborate with project design team to ensure quality of alarm installation plans, based on prior experience.
• Guide team members in best practices in alarm, door access, and camera installation.
