Responsibilities
Install, program and service a variety of access control systems from manufacturers such as:
Software house, PDK, DSX, Paxton, Millennium, etc. (paid hands-on training available).
Install, program and service a variety of security camera systems and VMS systems from manufacturers such as:
Software house, PDK, DSX, Paxton, Millennium, Axis, Milestone, Hanwha etc. (paid hands-on training available).
You will be at customers sites and not at a desk the majority of the time. Responsibilities vary from day to day.
QualificationsShould have installed multiple access control system and or security cameras systems prior to applying. Should have background in relay logic, power supplies, electronic door locking hardware such as electronic strikes, mag locks. Basic computer knowledge, IP addressing etc. whether it is self taught or some sort of formal training. The right candidate will be willing and able to learn then troubleshoot systems he or she has never touched.
This candidate will also not shy from getting to the root cause of these issues; even when this means jumping on a ladder when needed to look for damaged wiring or replace failed equipment.
Shouldn't be scared to troubleshoot and figure things out.
Additional InformationOnsite hands-on paid training is offered for this position. Ability to move up in the company and to earn more money.
