Motorcycle Technician

We are seeking to hire a technician to join our team. We are looking for a skilled and experienced technician who knows their way around multiple manufacturers of motorcycles. Here at Salt City Builds we take great pride in our work and are looking for somebody who is efficient, while also being detail oriented and organized.

• Perform motorcycle maintenance, inspections, and needs to ensure safety and reliability.
• Effectively Communicate with parts manager and front office to request parts needs and recommend service to customers.
• Conduct repairs, engine, brakes, tires, transmission, suspension work, and other mechanical repairs as needed.
• Utilize power tools effectively for various repair tasks.
• Log pictures and notate any issues or mechanical services performed on all motorcycles.
• Maintain a clean and organized work space, you are responsible for your own tools.

• Proven 2+ years experience as a Professional Powersports Service Technician or similar role in the powersports industry is required.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on multiple manufactures.
• Strong familiarity with carburetors, fuel systems, electrical systems and engine services.
• Strong efficiency in all basic maintenance services.
• Experience using power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with services and inspections.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members.
