We are seeking an experienced Mechanic to support our disaster restoration operations. This role is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing company vehicles and truck-mounted carpet cleaning systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient field operations.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose, repair, and maintain company vehicles (vans, trucks, and light-duty fleet)
- Service and repair truck-mounted carpet cleaning and restoration equipment
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Maintain maintenance records and ensure equipment meets safety standards
- Coordinate repairs to minimize vehicle downtime
- Proven experience as a mechanic working on vehicles and equipment
- Hands‑on experience with truck mounts or similar powered cleaning/restoration systems required
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple repairs
- Valid driver’s license (commercial license a plus)
- Restoration, carpet cleaning, or pressure washing equipment
- Small engines, PTO‑driven systems, or auxiliary motors
- Fleet maintenance experience
