Irrigation Technician

We are looking for a sprinkler professional to join our team in Salt Lake City. We need a problem solver that likes to get their hands dirty.

This is a seasonal W2 position running through the beginning of November, with potential for winter snow removal work (not guaranteed).

Pay is $25–$35/hr depending on experience. Potential for bonuses.

• Valve, sprinkler head, and controller repair
• PVC repairs
• Timer programming and adjustment for optimal water efficiency
• System inspections and seasonal start-ups
• Winterization and blow-outs
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, leaks, and coverage gaps
• Potential to help with landscape construction
• Drip Irrigation repairs
• Full system installations
• Communicate professionally with clients and provide excellent customer service
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Clean and stock trucks
• Help around the shop
• Everything sprinklers/irrigation

• 1-5+ years of experience is preferred
• No experience necessary — pay rate depends on experience level
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record (preferred)
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including lifting, digging, and bending
• Comfortable working in public-facing settings and interacting professionally with clients
• Ability to work independently and manage your time without constant supervision
• Positive attitude — this is a must
• Reliable, punctual, HONEST, and dependable

• Pay based on experience
• 35-40 hours per week
• Plenty of OT available during the busy seasons
• Seasonal W2 position through early November
• Potential for winter snow removal work
