Concrete Restoration & Coatings Laborer​/Technician

Overview

CDC Restoration & Construction is seeking to fill multiple positions for general and skilled labor. We provide on the job training and mentoring to help our employees develop their skill set in this technical and rewarding trade. Work days and sites vary greatly, including industrial sites, commercial construction projects and parking garages. Employees perform various construction duties daily involved in concrete repair, restoration and concrete coating applications such as:

• Selective concrete demolition & Surface Preparation (Grinding, Milling, Chipping, Shot blasting, Sand Blasting)
• Placing and finishing concrete and specialty mortars, resins and grouts
• Vertical & Overhead Form and Pour/Pump systems
• Installation of resinous coating and lining systems (Epoxies, Polyurethanes, etc.)
• Installation of waterproofing membranes, grouts and injection resins

• Perform concrete repair, restoration and coating applications as part of a construction team
• Operate and assist with equipment used for surface preparation and coating installation
• Assist in demolition, grinding, milling, chipping, shot blasting, sandblasting as required
• Support vertical and overhead form work and pours/pump operations
• Apply resinous coatings, membranes, and related systems under supervision

• Drug free and able to pass pre-employment screenings
• Fit to work and able to lift 45–75 lbs
• Willing to travel if required
