American Equipment HR LLC Careers is seeking a Low Voltage Wiring Technician to support our Manufacturing operations within the Engineering, Maintenance & Asset Management team. In this role, you will install, terminate, and troubleshoot low voltage wiring, control panels, and related systems that keep our equipment operating safely and reliably. You'll work hands-on on the plant floor, partnering with engineers and maintenance technicians to support new equipment installs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities
- Install, terminate, and label low voltage wiring for equipment and control systems in a manufacturing environment
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring schematics, and layout plans
- Troubleshoot and repair low voltage circuits, panels, and related control components to minimize downtime
- Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance on wiring and related devices
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and asset management teams to support new equipment installs and upgrades
- Follow strict safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and company quality standards on every job
- Accurately document wiring changes, repairs, and as-built conditions in maintenance systems
- Maintain tools, test equipment, and work areas in safe, organized condition
- Assist with commissioning, start-up, and verification of new or modified systems
Required Skills
- Low voltage wiring installation
