RV Lot and Shop Technician Prep Tech

Clay’s RV, located in Salt Lake City, is seeking a motivated and ambitious person to join our team as an RV Lot and Shop Technician.

Individuals with a good work history and core skills will be considered.

This is a great entry-level position with huge opportunity in a growing business.

The ideal candidate will have experience in hands on work such as a mechanic, finish carpenter, lube tech, electrical tech/apprentice, etc.

Lot Duties (30%)

• Park, label and secure motor homes and trailers in the sales and service lots.
• Retrieve repaired motor homes and trailers from lot for customer pick up.
• Maintain order in the sales and service lots.

Cleaning Duties (30%)

• Cleaning and detailing RV’s for display.
• Cleaning and organizing the service yard, sales lot and grounds.
• Assisting in the cleaning and organizing of the repair and body shops.

Parts Duties (20%)

• Delivering and picking up parts from local businesses
• Assist in identifying and finding parts

Other Duties (20%)

• Tracking and maintaining shop supply inventory
• Completing small projects on site; e.g. painting, building shelves, etc.

Other tasks as assigned.

Core skills (Must have):

• Forklift experience
• Demonstrated mechanical ability and aptitude
• Clean driving record
• Some light construction and/or mechanical experience

Pay is $16/hr and up, depending upon experience.
