HVAC Service Technician

At RK Industries, you'll take on complex commercial HVAC challenges where your technical expertise directly impacts the performance, reliability, and comfort of the buildings we serve. You'll troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and optimize a wide range of equipment while working with the resources of a fully integrated mechanical contractor.

• Service, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems including RTUs, boilers, chillers, AHUs, VAVs, and exhaust systems
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and controls issues
• Troubleshoot BAS, controls, and sensors
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and quality control
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and control schematics
• Respond to emergency service calls and minimize customer downtime
• Document service work, findings, and repair recommendations
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local mechanical codes
• Communicate effectively with facility managers, engineers, and project teams

• 4+ years of commercial HVAC experience with equipment such as RTUs, boilers, MAUs, AHUs, fans, pumps, cooling towers, VRV/VRF systems, VFDs, automation systems, and/or chillers
• Understanding of hydronic systems and DX cooling circuits/components
• EPA Universal Certification or other relevant HVAC certifications
