Construction Manager/ Foreman
Design Tek Consulting Group is an established design-build engineering and general contracting firm specializing in high-performance industrial facilities, controlled environments, and cleanroom construction.
As our project portfolio continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Field Superintendent / Working Foreman to lead field crews, coordinate specialty subcontractors, and perform high-quality installation work on active job sites.
This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who can confidently manage people and schedules while also contributing directly to structural framing, finish carpentry, and specialty construction installations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, supervise, and motivate field crews and specialty subcontractors.
- Assign daily responsibilities and keep projects aligned with schedules and milestones.
- Coordinate job site activities with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and design-build plans.
- Perform structural steel framing, finish carpentry, and specialty architectural installations.
- Oversee and actively participate in the installation of controlled-environment, modular wall, and cleanroom components.
- Maintain high standards for workmanship, organization, and job site cleanliness.
- Enforce company safety procedures and applicable job site regulations.
- Identify field issues and communicate solutions to the project management team.
- Safely operate commercial power tools, lifts, and construction equipment.
- At least five years of experience as a construction Foreman, Field Superintendent, or similar field leadership role.
- Proven experience supervising field crews and subcontractors.
- Strong working knowledge of structural framing and finish carpentry.
- Ability to read blueprints, construction drawings, and technical specifications.
- Strong understanding of job site safety practices and proper tool operation.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to balance field supervision with hands‑on installation responsibilities.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
