Archer Mechanical specializes in sustainable mechanical and plumbing systems, providing design-build, design-assist, new construction, additions, remodels, retrofits, service, and preventative maintenance.

As an Apprentice Plumber, you will play a crucial role in the installation of plumbing and mechanical systems across our diverse project portfolio. Your work will be performed in strict accordance with industry codes and project documents, ensuring high-standard compliance and contributing to the overall success of the Archer Mechanical team. This role offers the unique opportunity to work alongside seasoned professionals, gaining valuable hands‑on experience while mastering the complexities of the trade.

Responsibilities:- Install plumbing and mechanical systems according to code and project documents.
- Perform pipe fitting and welding tasks as required.
- Anticipate upcoming tasks and provide material lists and tool requests to the Journeyman, Foreman, and/or Superintendent one week in advance.
- Offer suggestions for productive and efficient installation approaches and options.
- Learn, apply, and maintain piping and fittings, including assembly, cutting, threading, grooving, and brazing/soldering, to meet project goals and requirements.
- Familiarize yourself with the project layout and ensure installations are carried out as directed and in compliance with codes.
- Maintain a focus on quality assurance by inspecting and assessing craftsmanship and installed work.
- Utilize the EDGE method (Explain, Demonstrate, Guide, Enable) when teaching and mentoring other team members.
- Completion of 1A – 4B in apprentice plumbing training.
- Strong work ethic and desire to learn and develop new skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills to follow instructions and seek clarification when needed.
