About the RoleArnold Machinery Company is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Lead Hydraulic Hose Mobile Technician to join our growing team. In this mobile position, you’ll provide on-site hydraulic hose services to customers, offering fast, efficient repairs and expert troubleshooting. You’ll also play a key role in developing long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Perform on-site hydraulic hose inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
- Build and maintain relationships with both new and existing customers.
- Replace, repair, and fabricate hydraulic hoses and fittings to customer specifications.
- Operate a fully-equipped mobile service vehicle to perform field repairs.
- Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication at every service call.
- Maintain vehicle inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
- Accurately document all service work and parts used.
- Diagnose issues related to hydraulic pressure, performance, and leaks.
- Educate customers on best practices for hydraulic system maintenance.
- Follow all safety protocols during service operations.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and repair techniques.
- Be available for emergency after-hours service calls as needed.
- Proven experience as a Hydraulic Hose Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, fittings, hoses, and tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair systems in the field.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail.
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications a plus).
- Certification in hydraulics or a related field.
- Previous experience in mobile service operations.
- Familiarity with specific hydraulic systems or brands.
- Ability to sit, bend, stand, and move throughout workday.
- Comfortable working outdoors and navigating uneven terrain.
- Must be able to lift, move, and position heavy equipment and materials.
- Capable of hearing and communicating clearly via phone, radio, and in-person.
