The crater will be responsible for preparing and packaging heavy machinery and material for transportation. Primarily will be assembling crates within a team environment. Job Duties- Assemble crates according to specifications using appropriate materials and techniques to prevent damage during transport.
- Heat Shrinking
- Work closely with other team members, including machinery movers, riggers, and drivers, to coordinate moving activities and ensure efficient workflow.
- General warehouse tasks may be included.
- Knowledge of power tools.
- Working in a fast paced, physical, team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.
- Good communication skills with other employees and vendors.
- May be asked to work outdoors.
- Willing to work overtime as needed.
- Must be able to pass physical abilities test and a drug screen upon hire as well as random periodic screenings.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. without assistance.
