We are looking for a Craft Electrician to support the safe and reliable operation of electrical equipment and infrastructure across the Kennecott Copper Surface Mine operation.

Reporting to the Supervisor - Electrical Maintenance, on a 4 on / 4 off continuous roster and working collaboratively with operational and functional teams, you will be responsible for

• Troubleshooting and maintaining electrical systems from 12V DC to 13.8kV AC, including switch gear, transformers, and distribution panels
• Diagnosing and repairing AC and DC motors, including motor control circuits and starters
• Maintaining and troubleshooting variable frequency drives (VFDs) and soft starters
• Installing, calibrating, and troubleshooting instrumentation such as proximity sensors, level sensors, RTDs, and pressure sensors
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and site-specific policies

• A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
• Proven experience working as an industrial or craft electrician in a heavy industrial or mining environment
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and instrumentation across low and medium voltage applications
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
• Willingness and ability to work a 4 on / 4 off continuous roster
• A collaborative mindset with respect for others in a diverse and inclusive team environment
