# Plumbing Service Apprentice Any Hour Services (Ogden) - MARRIOTT-SLATERVILLE, UT 84404## Overview Position Type Full Time

Travel Percentage Up to 50%## Description As a Plumbing Service Apprentice, you'll support licensed plumbers on service calls, learning to diagnose and repair leaks, clogs, fixture issues, and water heater problems under direct supervision. You'll gain hands-on experience with tools, blueprints, and diagnostic equipment while developing the technical foundation needed to advance in the plumbing trade.

** Key Responsibilities*
* • Assist plumbers with diagnosing and repairing plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, fixture replacements, and water heater repairs  
• Prepare tools, materials, and equipment for service calls, and perform basic tasks like cutting and measuring pipes under supervision  
• Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and work orders to understand job requirements  
• Support testing of water pressure, drainage, and system performance  
• Document work performed and assist with job notes  
• Provide professional and respectful assistance to customers, supporting technicians in explaining repairs and options  
• Ensure customer property is protected and cleaned up after service

** Education*
* • High school diploma or equivalent required  
• Enrollment in or interest in a plumbing apprenticeship or trade school program preferred    
** Experience*
* • Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools and materials  
• Willingness to learn plumbing service practices and safety protocols    
** Licenses/Certifications*
* • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation preferred    
** Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities*
* • Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision  
• Strong teamwork and communication skills    
** Physical Demands and Conditions*
* • Lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, crawling, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods  
• Work performed indoors and outdoors, sometimes in confined spaces or varied weather conditions    
** Work Environment/Travel*
* • Field-based role with daily travel to customer homes and commercial sites  
• May require evenings, weekends, or overtime depending on service demand
